Installing and Replacing the Battery
1.Press down on the release tab on the back of the Fish Scale to open the Battery Compartment.
2.Insert one 9V battery (not included) and line up polarity with the markings indicated in the Battery Compartment.
3.When the Battery is running low, the LCD readout will show a picture of a battery. This indicates that the battery needs replacing.

1.Protect the Digital Fish Scale from rough use. It is susceptible to damage from being dropped, struck, or other abuse.
2.Protect the Digital Fish Scale from exposure to water or corrosive materials. It should be kept clean and dry. Occasional cleaning with a clean rag will extend its life and good appearance.
3.Lock it up and store in a dry location to inhibit rust. Keep out of the reach of children.
Troubleshooting
1. | LCD flashes continously: | Battery charge is to low. Replace battery. |
2.Display doesn’t change when Buttons are pushed: Circuit needs to be reset. Remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, replace battery and turn the Fish Scale “ON”.
3.LCD display does not show: Battery has poor connection or battery voltage is to low. Take battery out and adjust connections. Replace the battery as necessary.
