3.Personal safety

a.Stay alert, watch what you are do- ing and use common sense when operating this product. Do not use this product while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alco- hol or medication.

4.Product use and care

a.Do not force this product. Use the

correct product for your applica- tion. The correct product will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

b.Turn the Power Switch (13) to its “OFF” position before making any adjustments, changing acces- sories, or storing the unit. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the product acci- dentally.

c. Store this product out of the reach

of children and do not allow per- sons unfamiliar with the product or these instructions to operate the unit.

d.Maintain this product. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the product’s operation. If damaged, have the product repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained products.

e.Use this product in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use

of this product for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

5.Battery tool use and care

a.Recharge only with the Crank Handle (3).

b.Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact acciden- tally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

6.Service

a.Have this product serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the unit is maintained.

Additional Precautions

1.Maintain labels and nameplates on the product. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

2.Avoid unintentional starting. Prepare to begin work before turning on the product.

3.Do not leave the tool unattended when its Power Switch (13) is on. Turn off the unit before leaving.

4.This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.

5.People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use.

Electromagnetic fields in close prox- imity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference or pacemak- er failure. In addition, people with pacemakers should:
