TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

SYMPTOM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

 

 

 

Unit does not function when Main

• No AC power

• Make certain AC power cord is plugged into

Power Switch is pushed

• Check to see whether outlet is switch-controlled

 

 

 

Display lights, but there’s no

• Intermittent input connections

• Make certain that all input and speaker connections

are secure

 

• Mute is on

• Press Mute Button

 

• Volume Control is down

• Turn up Volume Control

 

• Desired source not selected

• Press correct Source Selector

 

• Speakers deactivated

• Press Speaker 1 or Speaker 2 Button

 

• Headphones are in use

• Unplug headphones

 

• Jumper pins between Preamp Outputs

• Replace jumper pins or, if external amplifier

 

and Main-Amp Inputs were removed

No sound from any speaker;
