TEST AND ADJUSTMENT

Turn on the circuit breaker and light switch.

NOTE: Sensor has a 1 1/2 minute warm up period before it will detect motion. When first turned on, wait 1 1/2 minutes.

Turn the RANGE control to the medium position (halfway between MIN and MAX), DualBrite® to OFF, and the ON-TIME control to the TEST position.

Avoid aiming the control at:

Objects that change temperature rapidly, such as heating vents and air conditioners. These heat sources could cause false triggering.

Areas where pets or traffic may trigger the control.

Nearby large, light-colored objects reflecting light may trigger the shut-off feature. Do not point other lights at the sensor.

Loosen the clamp screw in the sensor ball joint and gently rotate the sensor.

Walk through the coverage area noting where you are when the lights turn on (also, the LED will flash several times when motion is detected).Move the sensor head up, down, or sideways to change the cover- age area. Keep the sensor at least 1" (25 mm) away from the bulbs.

Adjust the RANGE as needed.

RANGE set too high may increase false triggering.

Secure the sensor head by tightening the clamp screw.

Do not overtighten the screw.

Set the amount of TIME you want the lights to stay on after motion is detected (1, 5, or 20 minutes).

Set the DualBrite® switch to the amount of time after dusk you want the lights on at low level (Off, 3, 6 Hrs., Dusk-to-Dawn).

WARNING - Risk of fire. Do not aim the bulbs at a combustible surface within 3 ft. (1 m).

5326 specifications

The Heath Zenith 5326 is a versatile and innovative motion-sensing outdoor light fixture designed to enhance security and convenience for homeowners. This product has become popular due to its blend of advanced technology, energy efficiency, and user-friendly features.

One of the standout characteristics of the Heath Zenith 5326 is its dual-head design. This design allows for adjustable illumination angles, ensuring that a wide area can be covered effectively. The dual heads can be aimed independently, providing targeted lighting wherever it is needed most. This feature is crucial for highlighting pathways, entry points, or any other outdoor spaces that may require additional lighting.

The Heath Zenith 5326 employs a high-performance motion sensor that can detect movement up to 180 degrees, with a range of up to 30 feet. This wide detection zone minimizes blind spots, making it an excellent choice for securing the perimeter of a property. The sensor also includes an adjustable time delay, allowing homeowners to set how long the light stays on after activation, which can range from a few seconds to several minutes.

In terms of energy efficiency, the Heath Zenith 5326 utilizes LED bulbs that consume significantly less power compared to traditional incandescent bulbs. This not only reduces electricity bills but also extends the lifespan of the lighting fixture. Because LEDs have a longer operational life, users can expect fewer replacements over time, making it a cost-effective solution for outdoor lighting.

The fixture is designed with durability in mind. Its weather-resistant construction ensures that it can withstand various environmental conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. This robustness guarantees that the Heath Zenith 5326 will perform reliably year-round, a crucial factor for outdoor installations.

Installation of the Heath Zenith 5326 is straightforward, with clear instructions provided. The fixture can be mounted on walls or eaves and is compatible with standard electrical boxes. Its sleek and modern design also enhances the aesthetic appeal of any home, providing both functionality and style.

In summary, the Heath Zenith 5326 is an impressive blend of technology, efficiency, and durability. With its dual heads, advanced motion sensing, energy-efficient LED lights, and robust construction, this outdoor lighting solution stands out in the market, making it a preferred choice for security and convenience in residential settings.
