HOW TO USE THE REMOTE TO
CONTROL YOUR TV’S DVD PLAYER

While in DVD mode, press this button to access the Title/Chapter Search or Track search of the loaded disc.
Use Channel Selector (numerical) buttons to enter the desired Chapter/Title/Track numbers.
THUMBSTICK/SELECT button
All of the On-Screen Display features on DVD mode can be set or adjusted by using the THUMBSTICK, except for numeric entries.
The THUMBSTICK will highlight functions or adjust and set different features. Press the THUMBSTICK toward desired direction
and press down to select.
VOLUME, MUTE button
Press the VOLUME up () or down () button until you obtain the desired sound level.
To reduce the sound to one half of normal volume (SOFT MUTE) to answer the telephone, etc., press the MUTE button. Press the
MUTE button again to turn the sound off completely (MUTE). To restore the sound, press the MUTE button one more time, or press
the VOLUME Up () button.
Closed Captioning will display when MUTE/SOFT MUTE is on and Closed Caption is set to AUTO (see page 63).
NAVI button (Disc Navigation)
During title playback, press this button to access the Disc Navigation.
Press THUMBSTICK SELECT.
•Playback of the selected chapter will start.
•Press the NAVI button before pressing THUMBSTICK SELECTor PLAY at step 3 will cease the DISC NAVIGATION function, and
the playback will be stopped. The resume information will be lost.
•When a disc menu is shown, the DISC NAVIGATION feature does not function.
•DISC NAVIGATION takes a few seconds to respond.
•With some discs, part of the DISC NAVIGATION screen may not be displayed properly. This is not a malfunction.
•Some discs do not support DISC NAVIGATION feature.
•While the DISC NAVIGATION is on the screen, the sound is muted.
•It takes about 28 seconds to display 6 shots.
