C 6SS, C7SS specifications

Hitachi Koki USA has established itself as a leading manufacturer of power tools, and among its most renowned products are the C7SS and C6SS circular saws. These powerful tools have garnered attention for their performance, durability, and innovative features, making them ideal for both professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts.

The Hitachi C7SS, a 7-1/4 inch circular saw, is equipped with a robust 15-amp motor that delivers an impressive no-load speed of 5,800 RPM. This high-speed capability allows the saw to cut through a variety of materials with ease. It boasts a lightweight design at just 10.6 pounds, which enhances user control and reduces fatigue during prolonged use. This model features a precision-cutting system with a depth-of-cut adjustment that offers users the flexibility to cut materials up to 2-7/16 inches thick at a 90-degree angle, and 1-7/8 inches at 45 degrees.

One of the standout characteristics of the C7SS is its aluminum base, which provides stability and helps ensure accurate cut alignment. The saw is also designed for convenience, featuring an ergonomic handle that delivers a comfortable grip, reducing the risk of slipping while allowing for better maneuverability. Additionally, the saw is fitted with a dust blower that helps keep the cutting line clear of debris, enhancing visibility and accuracy.

On the other hand, the Hitachi C6SS is a smaller, 6-1/2 inch circular saw that emphasizes portability without sacrificing power. It features a 13-amp motor with a similar no-load speed of 5,800 RPM. Despite its reduced size, the C6SS can cut through various materials effectively, making it suitable for tasks in tighter spaces. Weighing in at just 7.5 pounds, this model is extremely easy to handle and transport.

The C6SS retains many of the key features of its larger counterpart, including an aluminum base for stability and a precise depth-of-cut adjustment. Its compact size makes it a favored choice for user-friendly operation, especially in projects that require precision in limited areas. The ergonomic handle design ensures comfort and control during operation, making it a reliable choice for both professionals and casual users.

Both the Hitachi C7SS and C6SS circular saws reflect the innovative engineering and quality craftsmanship that Hitachi Koki USA is known for, ensuring they remain at the forefront of power tool technology. Whether for heavy-duty tasks or light-duty projects, these saws deliver performance that exceeds expectations.
