When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

1.	Read all instructions before using this heater.
2.	This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do
	not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided,
	use handles when moving this heater. Keep
	combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,
	bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3
	feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep
3.	them away from the sides and rear.
	Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is
	used by or near children or invalids and whenever
4.	the heater is left operating and unattended.
	Always unplug heater when not in use.
5.	Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord
	or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been
	dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard
	heater, or return to authorized service facility for
6.	examination and/or repair.
	Do not use outdoors.
7.	This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,
	laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never
	locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
8.	other water container.
	Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord

11.	To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes
	or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft
	surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become
12.	blocked.
	A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts
	inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint,
13.	or flammable liquids are used or stored.
	Use this heater only as described in this
	manual. Any other use not recommended by the
	manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or
14.	injury to persons.
	Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/
	receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or
15.	relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
	When unplugging, be sure to pull by the plug and
16.	not the cord.
	If the heater will not operate, see specific
17.	instructions on Auto Safety Shut-off.
	DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical
	or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will
	void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains
	no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be
18.	performed by qualified personnel only.
	Discontinue use if plug or outlet is hot. It is
	recommended that the outlet be replaced if plug or
19.	outlet is hot to touch.
	The heater must not be located immediately below

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1.Carefully remove your heater from the box. (Please save the carton for off-season storage.)

2.Make sure the unit is in the OFF position before plugging the heater into the outlet.

3.Place heater on firm level surface.

4.Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet. At 1500 Watts, this unit draws 12.5 Amps.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1.For heater operation, please set the Thermostat all the way to HI (see Figure 2).

2.Turn the Selector Control to desired heat setting (LO for 950W or HI for 1500W) (see Figure 2).

3.The Power Light will remain lit during operation, until the unit is unplugged.

OSCILLATING INSTRUCTIONS

To start oscillation, turn the oscillation switch to “ON (–)” (see Figure 1). Tostop oscillation, turn the oscillation switch to “OFF ( )”. Please do not manually turn the unit. The unit is designed to turn only by motorized oscillation.

THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS

Setting the Thermostat

1.Prior to setting the thermostat, steps 1 & 2 of the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS must be completed to allow the heater to operate and warm up the room/area.

2.When the desired temperature/comfort level is reached, lower the thermostat setting until the fan/ heater stops operating.

3.The Power Light will remain lit when the pre-set temperature is reached and when the unit is turned off.

4.The control will now automatically maintain the pre- set temperature level by turning the heater ON and OFF. The thermostat is now set.

NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the preset temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling, you need to raise the thermostat setting.

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE

During Season Care:

1.Always unplug the heater before cleaning and allow to cool.

2.Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.

3.NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit.

4.After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.

After Season Care:

1.Store heater in a cool, dry location.

2.It is recommended that you store the unit in its original carton.

AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF WITH CERAMIC CONTROL

This heater is equipped with a patented, technologically- advanced, safety system that requires the user to reset the heater if there is a potential overheat situation. When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the heater off. It can only resume operation when the user resets the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your heater fails to operate:

•Turn the thermostat to the highest setting.

•UNPLUG THE UNIT.

•Make sure the electrical outlet or circuit breaker is working.

•Check for obstructions. If you find an obstruction turn the heater OFF, and unplug the unit. Carefully remove the obstruction and follow the reset instructions.

To Reset the Heater:

1.Turn MODE to OFF and THERMOSTAT to HI.

2.Unplug unit, wait 30 minutes.

3.Plug in and turn ON.

Para reducir el riesgo de incendios, descargas eléctricas y lesiones personales al utilizar electrodomésticos, siga siempre las precauciones básicas de seguridad, incluyendo las que se mencionan a continuación:

INSTRUCCIONES PREVIAS AL USO

1.Saque cuidadosamente el calefactor de la caja. (Conserve la caja para guardarlo en el verano.)

2.Asegúrese de que esté en la posición OFF antes de enchufarlo en el tomacorriente.

3.Coloque el calefactor en una superficie firma y nivelada.

4.Evite sobrecargar el circuito eléctrico evitando utilizar otro aparato de alta potencia en el mismo tomacorriente. A 1500 Vatios, esta unidad consume 12,5 Amperes.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO

1.Para operar el calefactor, lleve el control del termostato hasta su límite, hasta alcanzar la posición HI (Ver Figura 2).

2.Gire el selector de control a la posición de calor deseado (LO para 950 W o HI para 1500 W) (vea la

Figura 2).

3.La luz piloto permanecerá encendida durante el funcionamiento, hasta que se desenchufa la unidad.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA OSCILACION

Para iniciar la oscilación, gire la perilla de oscilación a la posición “ON (–)” (Encendido), (ver figura 1). Para detener la oscilación, gire la perilla de oscilación a la posición “OFF (o)” (Apagado). No gire manualmente la unidad, la misma está diseñada para oscilar únicamente por medio motorizado.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL MANEJO DEL TERMOSTATO

Calibrado del termostato

1.Antes de calibrar el termostato, deberán completarse los pasos 1 y 2 de las INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO, a fin de permitir el funcionamiento del calefactor para el calentamiento de la habitación /zona.

2.Una vez alcanzada la temperatura del nivel de confort, reduzca el calibrado del termostato de la unidad hasta que se detenga el ventilador del calefactor.

3.Seguirá habiendo la luz de la energía se encendió cuando se alcanza la temperatura preestablecida y el calefactor se apaga.

4.El control se mantendrá ahora dentro del nivel precalibrado, determinando el arranque y detención (ON y OFF) del calefactor. El termostato quedará ahora calibrado.

NOTA: Será normal el ciclo del calefactor entre las posiciones de arranque y detención (ON y OFF) a fin de mantener la temperatura seleccionada. Para suspender el ciclado de la unidad, deberá usted elevar el ciclo del termostato.

LIMPIEZA / MANTENIMIENTO

Durante la temporada:

1.Siempre desenchufe el calefactor antes de limpiarlo y deje que se enfíe.

2.Limpie la unidad con un trapo suave humedecido con agua y detergente.

3.NUNCA utilice solventes abrasivos o inflamables para limpiar la unidad.

4.Después de limpiarla, asegúrese de secar completamente la unidad con un trapo o toalla.

APAGADO AUTOMATICO DE SEGURIDAD CON CONTROL CERAMICO

Este calefactor está equipado con un sistema de seguridad patentado, de tecnología avanzada que requiere que el usuario reinicie el calefactor en caso de un sobrecalentamiento potencial. Cuando se alcanza una temperatura de recalentamiento potencial, el sistema apagará automáticamente el calefactor. Volverá a funcionar únicamente luego de que el usuario reinicie la unidad.

Para volver a prender el calefactor:

1.Gire la perilla del Modo (MODE) a la possicion Apagado (OFF) y el Termostato (THERMOSTAT) a Alta (HI).

2.Desenchufe la unidad y espere 30 minutos.

3.Enchufe y vuelva a encender.

DIAGNOSTICO DE PROBLEMAS

Si su calefactor no funciona:

• Gire el termostato a la posicion maxima.

• DESENCHUFE LA UNIDAD.

• Asegúrese de que el tomacorriente o llave térmica

funcionen correctamente.

• Verifique que no haya ninguna obstrucción. Si

encuentra una obstrucción, apague el calefactor, y

DESENCHUFELO. Quite cuidadosamente la obstrucción

	No coloque el cable debajo de la alfombra. No
	cubra el cable con alfombras, tapetes o artículos
	similares. No pase el cable por debajo de muebles
	o electrodomésticos. Coloque el cable lejos del área

	Para desconectarlo, gire el control a la posición
	OFF, luego quite el enchufe del tomacorriente.

	Deje de usarlo si el cable o el enchufe se calienta.
	Se recomienda que reemplace el tomacorriente si el
19.	enchufe o el tomacorriente se calienta.
	El calefactor no se debe localizar inmediatamente
	debajo de un tomacorriente. No use este calefactor
	en áreas cercanas a un baño, una ducha o una
	piscina.

Después de la temporada:

1.Guarde el calefactor en un lugar frío y seco.

2.Se recomienda que usted almacena la unidad en su cartón original.

y siga el procedimiento para reiniciar la unidad.

NO intente abrir o reparar el calefactor.
