POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
Fuel valve OFF. Turn fuel valve ON (p. 24).
Throttle lever in wrong position. Move throttle lever to CHOKE position,
unless the engine is warm (p. 24).
Out of fuel. Refuel fp 201.
Bad fuel; mower stored without Drain fuel tank and carburetor fp. 52).
treating or draining gasoline, or Refuel with fresh gasoline (p. 20).
refueled with bad gas.
Spark plug faulty, fouled, or
improperly gapped.
Spark plug wet with fuel.
Clean, gap, or replace spark plug
(P.
40).
Dry spark plug and clear flooded
