11. TROUBLESHOOTING

ENGINE

ENGINE WILL NOT START POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
1. Check control positions. Fuel valve OFF. Turn fuel valve ON (p. 22).
Throttle lever in wrong Move throttle lever to START
position. (CHOKE) position, unless the
engine is warm (p. 22).
Flywheel brake engaged. Push flywheel brake lever
forward to the handlebar.
2. Check fuel. Out of fuel. Refuel fp. 18).
Bad fuel; mower stored Drain fuel tank and
