VIBRATION
EXCESSIVE VIBRATION
1. Check blade.
2. Take mower to Honda
lawn mower dealer for
repair.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Blade is loose, bent,
damaged, or unbalanced by
improper sharpening.
Mechanical damage, such a
bent crankshaft.
CORRECTION
Tighten loose blade bolts.
Replace blade if necessary
(p. 15 81 42).
Take mower to Honda lawn
mower dealer, or refer to
shop manual.
GRASS CUTTING/MULCHING/BAGGING
POOR CUT QUALITY OR
POOR CUTTING/MULCHING/
BAGGING PERFORMANCE POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
1. Check that throttle lever
is in the HI position.
2. Reduce forward speed.
Engine speed is too slow to Move throttle lever to the HI
cut well. position (p. 251.
Mower is moving too fast for Push slower fp. 31).

4. Check grass bag
(optional equipment).
