Howtoprepare the dishesforwashing

If this is yourfirst dishwasher,or if you’rereplacinga mucholder model,youmaywonderhowmuch pre-preparationyourdishesneed. Actuallyverylittle.Fre-rinsingof normalfoodsoilsis notnecessary. Withcommonsenseanda little practiceyou’llsoonknowwhat foodsto remove.Here are some guidelines:

1.Scrapeoffbones,seeds,skins,

toothpicksandotherhardsolids.It is alsobestto removehardshelled vegetables,meattrimmings,leafy vegetablesandcrusts.Remove excessivequantitiesof oilor grease.

2.Removelargequantitiesof any

food.Yourdishwasherhasa built-in sofifooddisposerthatpulverizes sofifoodbitsandflushesthemaway. It canhandlesmallamountsof softfoods,butlargeamountswill be difficultto handle.

3.Tryto removefoodscrapsand plac~dishesin dishwashe~before soilhasa chanceto dry andbecome hard. Disheswithdried-onsoilare moredifficultto washand may not comecleanin the NORMAL WASHcycle.Rememberto use
