Returning Your HP Color Copier 210 for Service

After obtaining authorization for hardware service from HP Customer Support Center, be sure to pack your HP Color Copier 210 in a protective carton. We recommend you save the original shipping container for this purpose.

NOTE In-transit damage is not covered by the warranty, so always insure your shipment.

Use these guidelines before returning your HP Color Copier 210 for service:

1Use the troubleshooting instructions to make certain the problem is in your HP Color Copier 210 product and is not the result of configuration problems or inappropriate settings. If possible, identify the defective function.

2If repair is required, follow the steps in “Prepare your HP Color Copier 210 for shipment,” below. Please include these items in the box:

A brief description of symptoms for service personnel. (Samples of print quality problems are helpful.)

A copy of the sales slip or other proof of purchase to establish the warranty coverage period.

Your name, address, and a phone number where you may be reached during the day.
