ÅWARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, fire, or damage to the equipment, do not use converter kits sold for appliances to power your Notebook. Use only the Compaq adapter that came with your Notebook or a Compaq replacement part.

ÄCAUTION: High voltages can enter your Notebook through the phone line connected to the modem. To protect your Notebook during electrical storms, use a telephone line surge protector.
