Using the CD or DVD Drive
Most DVD discs have a “region” setting that limits the playback of the disc to specific geographical regions. The region code on the DVD drive must match the region code on the DVD disc.
To change the DVD drive region, complete the following steps:
1.With a DVD disc in the drive, open the WinDVD Player.
2.Click the Properties 
icon on the lower left corner of the player to open the Properties dialog box.
3.Click the General tab.

4.Select the desired region in the Current regions section.
5.Click OK to return to the WinDVD Player.
