HP ProtectTools Security	HP ProtectTools Security Manager is the security platform for business notebooks and desktops. The HP
Manager with Central	ProtectTools Security Manager is an extensible client security console that delivers enhanced security
Management	capabilities through add-on software modules. The following modules are available on the hard drive
	(also downloadable from the web) and can be configured in Software Setup:

Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools

Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools

Drive Encryption for HP ProtectTools

File Sanitizer for HP ProtectTools

Privacy Manager for HP ProtectTools (Chat & Sign)

Embedded Security for HP ProtectTools

Computrace LoJack Pro for HP ProtectTools

HP ProtectTools is now capable of being centrally managed from a single control point. HP ProtectTools is management ready out of the box, in partnership with Digital Persona, and provides features that customers expect from a centrally managed security solution, such as user provisioning, credential reset, and system and network revocation. Central Management is available in two feature levels:

Digital Persona Pro Enterprise: Designed for environments with Active Directory. For large businesses, as well as smaller businesses utilizing an active directory based infrastructure. Gives IT Managers the ability to create role based security policies, provision users, and create login policies based on passwords, biometrics or smart cards. Management features also include remote credential recovery in case the user forgets the password, loses the smart card, or cannot use the fingerprint reader for any reason. In addition, advanced auditing capabilities are also built in.

Digital Persona Workgroup Manager: Designed for environments without Active Directory. This option can be used by smaller businesses as well as workgroups within large organizations. Workgroup Manager offers features similar to Digital Persona Pro Enterprise, but without active directory integration. Workgroup activation is built into HP ProtectTools, and activation of up to 5 seats is completely free.
