Managing Plots Not Yet Printed (The Queue)

In Queueing & Nesting, you can scroll through the pages in the queue.

Each has an identifier, comprising:

The page currently being plotted is in position 0. The next page to be plotted is in position 1, the one after in position 2, etc. The previous page plotted is position ±1, the one before that in position ±2, etc.

Plot name

Some applications let you give your plot a descriptive name which it then conveys to the plotter ± for example ªBuilding 2 Exteriorº. If your software supports this feature, this plot name is applied to each page and displayed after its queue position:

If your software does not support this feature, your plotter will assign names to the pages in its queue. The plotter-assigned name indicates how many thousands of vectors make up the page:
