To recharge a battery

CAUTION

The ac adapter is normally warm to the touch whenever it’s plugged into an ac

outlet. The OmniBook is normally warm while it’s charging. Don’t charge it in a

briefcase or other confined space as this may cause the battery to overheat.

1.

Connect the power cord to the ac adapter, then plug the cord into an ac outlet. The

indicator light on the ac adapter shines when the adapter is on. If the ac adapter does

not light, make sure that cord is not damaged.

2.

Connect the ac adapter to the OmniBook’s right side, as shown.

Charging time

Charging the battery takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

Battery life

When the computer is in use, typical battery life can last up to 3-4 hours or more, depending on your level of use, your power management settings, and your computer model.

Optimum Charging

To get the longest battery operating time, wait to recharge until the battery is below 50% charged, then continue charging until the battery is fully charged. The battery charging light stops blinking only when the battery is actually full. You can continue working while the battery is charging.
