Storage Controllers One of the following depending on Model

The HP ProLiant ML310 G3 offers both SCSI and Serial models. SCSI models support U320 SCSI hard drives. Serial models support Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) hard drives. Use of SAS hard drives in Serial models requires installation of a SAS controller or HBA.

Single Channel Ultra320 SCSI Adapter (in PCI-X slot) (SCSI Models)

Integrated four port SATA controller with integrated SATA RAID 0, 1 (SATA Models)

NOTE: Use of the embedded SATA RAID feature requires installation of a driver from a floppy drive. The supported floppy drive can be a USB floppy drive, half-height internal floppy drive, or virtual floppy via Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO 2).

NOTE: See the "Storage" section of these QuickSpecs for information on controllers and cables required to support SATA and SAS hard drive configurations
