2.0SAFETY FEATURES

AUTOMATIC TOTAL STOP

The pressure washer is equipped with a stop device which will sense when the trigger on the gun is released. It will open the power circuit to the motor and cause the pressure washer to stop.

MOTOR OVERLOAD

The electric motor in this pressure washer is equip- ped with an overload protection device which will automatically shut off the motor in the event the motor draws excessive current or overheats. The device will automatically reset itself and resume normal operation after a short period of time.

GROUND-FAULT CIRCUIT-IN-

TERRUPTER PROTECTION

This pressure washer is provided with

aGround-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) built into the plug of the power supply cord. This device provides additional protection from the risk of electric shock. Should replacement of the plug or cord become necessary, use only identical replacement parts that include GFCI protection.

EXTENSION CORDS

WARNING: Extension cords are not recommended unless they are plugged into a ground-fault circuit-interrupter found in

WARNING circuit boxes or protected receptacles.

Use only 12/3 AWG outdoor extensions cords with maximum length of 25 feet that have 3-prong groun- ding-type plugs and 3-pole cord connectors that accept the plug from the product.

Use only extension cords that are intended for outdoor use. These extension cords are identified by a marking “Acceptable for use with outdoor appliances; store indoors while not in use”. Use only extension cords having an electrical rating higher than the rating of the product. Do not use damaged extension cords. Examine extension cord before using and replace if damaged. Do not abuse extension cord and do not pull on any cord to disconnect. Keep cord away from heat and sharp edges.

CON TOMA DE TIERRA

La máquina de lavar a presión está dotada de un interruptor de circuito con toma de tierra (GFCI) montado en el enchufe del cable de alimentación eléctrica. Dicho dispositivo suministra una protección adicional contra el rie- sgo de descargas. Si fuere necesario substituir el enchufe o el cable, utilicen exclusivamente repuestos similares provistos de protección GFCI.

EXTENSIONES

ATENCIÓN: No se aconseja el uso de extensiones si éstas no están conectadas ATENCIÓN a un interruptor de circuito con toma de tierra, puesto en cajas del circuito o en

tomas protegidas.

Utilice exclusivamente extensiones 12/3 AWG fuera con la longitud no superior a los 25 pies con tres cables con enchufes de tres puntas con toma a tierra de 3 polos y conectores tripolares aptos para el enchufe del equipo. Use exclusivamente extensiones para uso ex- terior. Dichas extensiones están marcadas por la frase “Aptas para uso exterior si no las utiliza, colóquelas en un lugar cubierto”. Use solamente extensiones con una potencia eléctrica superior a la potencia nominal del equipo. No utilice extensiones dañadas. Antes del uso, revise la extensión y si está dañada sustitúyala. No la use en modo incorrecto y no tire del cable para desenchufar. Mantenga las extensiones lejos de fuentes de calor y de ángulos cortantes.
