BUTTON SEWING

Please note: The button sewing foot only comes with model C20.

Change the presser foot to the button sewing foot.

1. Move the feed dog adjustment lever to to lower the feed dogs.

2. Position the fabric under the foot. Place the button in the desired position, lower the foot on to the button.

3. Select zig zag pattern. Adjust the stitch width to “2.0-7.0” according to the distance between the two holes of the button.

4. Turn the handwheel to check that the needle goes cleanly into the left and right holes of the button.

5. Before sewing, press the Auto-lock button to automatically sew reinforcement stitches at the beginning and at the end of the stitch.

6 For buttons with 4 holes, sew the two front holes first, pull fabric forward and then sew the two holes back.
