preinstalled and on the utility diskette for DOS,
Windows and OS/2; it provides status and info
on PCMCIA cards installed. In Windows and
OS/2, it can register an appl for PCMCIA cards
and execute them automatically. Auto
Configurator and Memory Device Driver
enables supported PCMCIA cards by sensing
them automatically (so do not need to install
their device drivers). This utility ships with
ThinkPads 360, 510Cs, and 755 family.
Easy-Setup is entered by holding F1 when
turning on. Easy-Setup, BIOS, and diagnostics
are located in Flash memory.

(360THINK) Compiled by Roger Dodson, IBM. December 1995

An intelligent battery (standard in ThinkPad 750

and 755) is optional. The ThinkPad 360 battery

is lower cost, easy to use because no storage-

switch control is required, and

shows % of
remaining power (compared to hours of remaining
power).
