Displaying topics in your preferred language in the DB2 Information Center

The DB2 Information Center attempts to display topics in the language specified in your browser preferences. If a topic has not been translated into your preferred language, the DB2 Information Center displays the topic in English.

Procedure:

To display topics in your preferred language in the Internet Explorer browser:

1.In Internet Explorer, click the Tools —> Internet Options —> Languages...

button. The Language Preferences window opens.

2.Ensure your preferred language is specified as the first entry in the list of languages.

v To add a new language to the list, click the Add... button.

Note: Adding a language does not guarantee that the computer has the fonts required to display the topics in the preferred language.

vTo move a language to the top of the list, select the language and click the Move Up button until the language is first in the list of languages.

3.Clear the browser cache and then refresh the page to display the DB2 Information Center in your preferred language.

To display topics in your preferred language in a Firefox or Mozilla browser:

1.Select the Tools —> Options —> Languages button. The Languages panel is displayed in the Preferences window.

2.Ensure your preferred language is specified as the first entry in the list of languages.

v To add a new language to the list, click the Add... button to select a language from the Add Languages window.
