Setting up the Unit to Operate on Power
For easy access to the DC jack, make sure slide cover is closed.
1.Connect the included AC adaptor to the DC Jack on the back of the unit.
2.Connect the plug to a working outlet.

Setting up the Unit
to Operate on Batteries
The unit operates on 4 AA batteries for portable use. When the sound becomes weak or distorted, it’s time to replace the batteries with fresh ones.
1.Turn the unit over and slide open the battery compartment door located on the bottom of the unit.

NOTE: When the unit is connected to a power source, it will charge a docked iPad iPhone or iPod and/or an iOS device connected to the USB port. It will not charge while operating on batteries. USB port will NOT charge iPad models. iHome+Apps do not work while unit is operating on batter- ies.
