Camera Setup

1. Set camera to “P” mode (camera icon).

2. Set ISO to 80.

3. Set camera to Macro Mode (not Super Macro).

4. Set White Balance to “Auto”.

5. Set Flash to “always on”

6. Slide the lens barrier down to turn on the camera, BEFORE placing the camera in the housing (1050 SW only).

NOTES:

- Camera will focus far away even if Macro Mode is on. It is best to leave Macro Focus on. You can back away from the subject and zoom in to avoid over-exposure if necessary.

- Flash does not work in Super-Macro mode.

Battery Warning

The camera battery will fit into the camera even when the battery contact points do not align properly. Turn the camera on before placing it in the housing to make sure the battery was installed correctly.

Accessory Lens Information

Based on the camera and housing design, accessory lenses and filters cannot be used.

Strobe Compatibility Note:

The DS-200 Digital Substrobe is NOT compatible with this camera system. Compatible strobes include the AF35, DS-51, DS-125, and DS-160. Go to www.ikelite.com for complete strobe information. 2
