UNIX based systems. It also includes instructions for setting serial communication parameters.

Parallel cable

You can use any parallel cable which meets IEEE 1284 standards.

RS-232 cable requirements

You may build this cable or purchase it from ENCAD, Inc. For connecting to an Apple Macintosh,

use the standard ImageWriter II cable.
