8345-B, 8245-B specifications

Ingersoll-Rand is a renowned name in the field of air compressors, and their series of portable air compressors, specifically the models 8245-B and 8345-B, stand out for their performance and reliability. These models are often utilized in construction, automotive, and industrial applications, delivering consistent airflow and power.

The Ingersoll-Rand 8245-B is designed for efficiency and ease of use. With a robust 8-gallon tank, it provides a steady supply of compressed air for various tools and equipment. This model boasts a powerful 3.5 HP engine, which allows it to achieve a maximum pressure of up to 135 PSI. The lightweight and compact design make it easy to transport, while the integrated control panel offers user-friendly operation, allowing for quick adjustments to pressure settings.

Similarly, the Ingersoll-Rand 8345-B elevates the standards with its enhanced features. This model increases the tank capacity to 10 gallons and is equipped with a more powerful 5 HP engine. This upgrade enables it to flow a greater volume of air – up to 24 CFM at 90 PSI. This higher airflow rate makes it ideal for heavy-duty applications that demand sustained usage over extended periods. It maintains a maximum pressure of 145 PSI, ensuring that tools always have sufficient air supply.

Both models incorporate advanced technologies to enhance performance. The inclusion of an oil-lubricated pump contributes to improved efficiency and lower operating temperatures, prolonging the life of the compressor. The design minimizes vibration and noise, making them suitable for use in environments where quieter operation is required. These air compressors feature a durable construction, with corrosion-resistant materials ensuring their longevity even in challenging working conditions.

Safety is also a priority in both models, as they come equipped with protective features like thermal overload protection, which prevents overheating and potential damage to the unit. Additionally, the easy-to-read pressure gauges ensure that users can monitor and adjust pressure levels effectively.

The versatility and reliability of the Ingersoll-Rand 8245-B and 8345-B make them suitable options for both professional and DIY users. Their robust construction, powerful engines, and innovative technologies set them apart as dependable choices in any job requiring a reliable source of compressed air.
