Insignia NS-7HTV 7” Hand Held TV

Connecting the AC power adapter

Caution

You must use a regulated ITE power source that supplies 9 V DC. The supplied AC power adapter meets these specifications. Using an adapter that does not meet these specifications could damage the TV or the adapter.

To use the AC power adapter:

1Make sure that your local AC power source matches the voltage shown on the AC power adapter. If it does not, consult your dealer or service center.

2Connect the DC cord from the AC power adapter to the 9 V DC jack on the right side of the TV, then plug it into the AC power outlet.

Caution

To protect your TV, unplug the AC power adapter from the

AC power outlet during heavy thunderstorms.

Charging the battery

Your TV comes equipped with a built-in, rechargable NiMH battery. This battery must be charged before you use it for the first time, and periodically when it becomes discharged.

To charge the battery:

1Turn off the TV.

2Connect the DC cord from the AC power adapter to the 9 V DC jack on the right side of the TV, then plug it into the AC power outlet. The red PWR/CHG LED on the side of the TV will light red.

3When the battery is fully charged, the PWR/CHG LED will turn off. Unplug the AC power adapter to stop charging the battery when this happens.

Note

Your TV can normally operate up to 100 minutes on a fully charged battery. Recharge the battery when the sound level decreases or the picture becomes unstable.
