Caring for discs
A dirty, scratched, or warped CD may cause skipping or noise.
To care for CDs:
•Hold CDs by their edges.
•Never touch the shiny sides of CDs.
•Do not bend CDs.
•Store CDs in their cases when you are not using them.
•Do not expose CDs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperature, or dust. Prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures can warp CDs.
•Do not stick labels or tape on CDs.
To remove a CD from its case:
•Hold the CD by its edges, then press down on the center hole to release the CD.
Cleaning CDs
To clean a CD:
•With a soft cloth, wipe the CD from the center to the outer edge.
