Insignia NS-CLW01 Weatherband Clock Radio

2Place the mounting bracket in the desired location and mark the location for the three mounting screws with a pencil.

Tip

We recommend that you mount the transmitter on the North side of your house, away from sources of heat or cold (such as windows or vents) and out of direct sunlight or rain.

The range of the transmitter is 80 ft. (24.4 m) in open space. The signal will penetrate walls, but the range will be decreased. Concrete and metal structures will further decrease the range.

The transmitter should not be mounted on a metal surface or close to sources of possible interference, such as cordless appliances and microwave ovens.

The temperature transmitter should be mounted vertically to transmit the signal well.

The FM antenna should be opened and the direction adjusted to receive the best signal.

3Start pilot holes for the screws where you marked their location.

4Screw the mounting bracket onto the mounting location with the three screws provided. Make sure that the screws are flush with the bracket.

5Snap the transmitter into the mounting bracket.
