BIOS Setup Configuration Jumper Block

This three-pin jumper block, shown in Figure 14, enables all motherboard configuration to be done in BIOS Setup. Table 4 shows the jumper settings for the Setup program modes.

Configuration

The BIOS uses current configuration information and passwords for booting.

After the Power-On Self-Test (POST) runs, the BIOS displays the Maintenance Menu. Use this menu to clear passwords and to change optional memory settings.

The BIOS attempts to recover the BIOS configuration. A recovery diskette is required.

USB Port 0 Configuration Jumper Block (Optional)

This 6-pin jumper block, shown in Figure 14, enables configuration of USB Port 0. Table 5 describes the jumper settings for configuring USB Port 0.
