The Intel 945P Express Chipset consists of the following devices:

•Intel 82945P Memory Controller Hub (MCH) with Digital Media Interface

•Intel 82801GR I/O Controller Hub (ICH7R) supporting Intel Matrix Storage Technology

•Firmware Hub (FWH)

Graphics Subsystem

Desktop board D945PVS includes the following:

•Intel 945P Express Chipset

•PCI Express x16 connector for graphics expansion

Audio Subsystem

Desktop board D945PVS includes a flexible 8-channel audio subsystem based on an Intel High Definition Audio codec:

The audio subsystem features:

•Intel 82801GR I/O Controller Hub (ICH7R)

•SigmaTel STAC9223 audio codec

•Impedance sensing capability for jack re-tasking

•S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio: 95 dB

•Microphone input that supports:
