本機能を選択すると、システムが自動的に検出するB I O S とチップセット機能用の出荷 時設定をロードします。

本機能を選択すると、画面中央に次のメッセージが表示され、パスワードを設定す ることができます。

8文字以内でパスワードを入力し、<Enter> を押します。確認画面になるので、再度 パスワードを入力し、<Enter> を押します。または、<Esc> を押して選択を破棄するこ ともできます。

パスワードを利用しない場合には、パスワード入力画面で <Enter> を押します。 "PASSWORD DISABLED" という確認画面が表示され、パスワードが無効になります。 これで、システム起動も、セットアップに入ることも自由にできます。

B I O S セットアッププログラムでは、2 種類のパスワード設定ができます。

SUPERVISOR PASSWORD USER PASSWORD です。無効の場合、誰でも全ての BIOS

セットアッププログラム機能にアクセスできます。有効の場合、BIOS セットアップ プログラムの全項目にアクセスするには管理者パスワードが必要になり、基本的な 項目のみにアクセスするにはユーザーパスワードが必要になります。

拡張 BIOS 機能メニューの "Password Check" "System" を選択すると、システムを起動 し、セットアップメニューに入るたびにパスワードの入力が必要になります。

拡張 BIOS 機能メニューの "Password Check" "Setup" を選択すると、セットアップメ ニューに入る際のみパスワードの入力が必要になります。
