Wireless LAN/Bluetooth On/Off Switch

The wireless LAN/Bluetooth on/off switch is used to turn on and off the optional WLAN and Bluetooth devices. Switching the device off when not in use will help to extend battery life. See “Activating the WLAN Device” on page 162.

SD Card Slot

The Secure Digital (SD) card slot allows you to insert a flash memory card for data storage. Flash memory cards allow you to transfer data to and from a variety of different digital devices. See “Secure Digital Cards” on page 79.

Fingerprint Recognition Sensor/Scroll Button

The fingerprint recognition sensor allows you to increase the security of your system by having it "recognize" your unique fingerprint. See “Introducing the Fingerprint Sensor Device” on page 171.

The fingerprint recognition sensor can also be used as a scrolling button that lets you navigate quickly through a document without having to use the window scroll bars. See “Scrolling” on page 36.
