The INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS Wireless 150N ADSL2+ Modem Router provides you with Internet access that is faster than ever before!

The Wireless 150N ADSL 2+ Modem Router is an all-in-one modem, router, Wireless N access point, firewall and Fast Ethernet four-port switch that allows you to access the Internet and download music, play interactive games online or surf the Web at double the speed* previously available through ADSL2.

The newest ADSL standard, ADSL2+ (G.992.5) offers significant advantages to the standard version of ADSL (asymmetric digital subscriber line) by boosting performance, improving interoperability and supporting new applications.

Better Rate and Reach

Improved modulation efficiency reduces framing overhead, achieves higher coding gain, improves the initialization time and provides enhanced signal processing algorithms. ADSL2 increases downstream data rates to more than 12 Mbps as compared to between 8 M and 10 Mbps for original ADSL. ADSL2 extends the reach by approximately 600 feet. The ADSL2+ standard doubles the maximum frequency used for downstream data transmission from

1.1MHz to 2.2 MHz. What all this means to you is that the new ADSL2+ high-speed Internet router effectively provides downstream data rates of 24 Mbps on standard copper phone lines as long as 5,000 feet.*

Diagnostics

Real-time performance-monitoring capabilities provide information regarding line quality and noise conditions at both ends of the line. Service providers can use the data to monitor the quality of your ADSL connection, prevent service failures and keep your connection up and running without disruption. They can also use the data to determine if you qualify for higher-data-rate services.

Improved Interoperability

Modem initialization procedures are clarified, which improves interoperability and provides better performance when connecting ADSL transceivers from different chip suppliers.

Enhanced Voice Support

An optional digital mode allows for transmission of data in the POTS (plain old telephone service) portion of the phone line. This adds 256 kbps to the upstream data rate, which can be an attractive option for businesses that have voice services on different phone lines and value the additional upstream bandwidth. In addition, ADSL2’s channelization capability provides support for Channelized Voice over DSL (CVoDSL), a method of transporting derived lines of TDM voice traffic transparently over DSL.

* ADSL performance may vary depending on operating environment and distance between networked devices.
