8.1LimitedWarranty—Europe

Termsandconditionsofthewarrantyarepartofthegeneralterms

andconditionsparticulartotheindividualcountriesinwhichthis

productissold.

InordertocomplywithHealth&Safetyregulationsandtoensure

thatouremployeesarenotexposedtotheriskofinfection,wemust

insistthatallproductsreturnedforrepairarethoroughlycleaned.

AnyproductsenttoInvacarewhichappearstobecontaminatedwill

berejectedanddisposedofimmediatelyatthecustomer’sexpense.

8.2LimitedWarranty—NorthAmerica

APPLICABLETOPRODUCTSMANUFACTUREDAFTER

JULY4,1975.

Thiswarrantyisextendedonlytotheoriginalpurchaser/userofour
products.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrightsandyoumayalsohaveother
legalrightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.
Invacarewarrantstheproductsmanufacturedtobefreefromdefectsin
materialsandworkmanshipforaperiodofoneyearfromthedateof
purchase.Ifwithinsuchwarrantyperiodanysuchproductshallbeproven
tobedefective,suchproductshallberepairedorreplaced,atInvacare’s
option.Thiswarrantydoesnotincludeanylabororshippingcharges
incurredinreplacementpartinstallationorrepairofanysuchproduct.
Invacare’ssoleobligationandyourexclusiveremedyunderthiswarranty
shallbelimitedtosuchrepairand/orreplacement.
Forwarrantyservice,pleasecontactthedealerfromwhomyoupurchased
yourInvacareproduct.Intheeventyoudonotreceivesatisfactory
warrantyservice,pleasewritedirectlytoInvacareattheaddressonthe
backcover,providedealer’sname,address,dateofpurchase,indicate
natureofthedefect.
InvacareCorporationwillissueaserializedreturnauthorization.The
defectiveunitorpartsMUSTbereturnedforwarrantyinspectionusing
theserialnumber,whenapplicableasidentificationwithin30daysof
returnauthorizationdate.Donotreturnproductstoourfactorywithout
ourpriorconsent.C.O.D.shipmentswillberefused;pleaseprepay
shippingcharges.

INVACARE’SEXPRESSWRITTENCONSENT(INCLUDING,BUT
NOTLIMITEDTO,MODIFICATIONTHROUGHTHEUSEOF
UNAUTHORIZEDPARTSORATTACHMENTS;PRODUCTS
DAMAGEDBYREASONOFREPAIRSMADETOANYCOMPONENT
WITHOUTTHESPECIFICCONSENTOFINVACARE,ORTO
APRODUCTDAMAGEDBYCIRCUMSTANCESBEYOND
INVACARE’SCONTROL,ANDSUCHEVALUATIONWILLBESOLELY
DETERMINEDBYINVACARE.THEWARRANTYSHALLNOTAPPLY
TOPROBLEMSARISINGFROMNORMALWEARORFAILURETO
ADHERETOTHEINSTRUCTIONSINTHISMANUAL.
THEFOREGOINGWARRANTYISEXCLUSIVEANDINLIEUOFANY
OTHEREXPRESSWARRANTIES.IMPLIEDWARRANTIES,IFANY,
INCLUDINGTHEIMPLIEDWARRANTIESOFMERCHANTABILITY
ANDFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE,SHALLNOTEXTEND
BEYONDTHEDURATIONOFTHEEXPRESSEDWARRANTY
PROVIDEDHEREINANDTHEREMEDYFORVIOLATIONSOF
ANYIMPLIEDWARRANTYSHALLBELIMITEDTOREPAIROR
REPLACEMENTOFTHEDEFECTIVEPRODUCTPURSUANTTOTHE

ANYCONSEQUENTIALORINCIDENTALDAMAGESWHATSOEVER.
