THE FREEWAY FREEDOM
BATTERY PACK
The Freeway Freedom battery pack contains nickel metal hydride (NiMH) cells. Refer to PROLONGING THE LIFE OF THE BATTERY in the MAINTENANCE section of this manual.
A second battery pack may be purchased for emergency purposes or if extra power is required for more treatments (e.g. on a long airplane flight) between charges.
INSTALLING THE FREEWAY FREEDOM BATTERY PACK (FIGURE 1)
1.Remove the protective film covers (plastic tape) from the battery terminals before installing the Freeway Freedom battery pack.
2.Install the Freeway Freedom battery pack into the bottom of the Freeway Freedom as shown in FIGURE 1.
