Cooktop Burners

High Performance Burner*

There is 1 high speed burner on the cooktop, located in the center (on some models) or right front position. This burner offers higher speed cooking that can be used to quickly bring water to a boil and for large-quantity cooking.

Simmer Burners*

Simmer burners are located in the left and right rear positions (on some models) or the left front position. The simmer burner offers a lower Btu/h flame for delicate sauces or melting chocolate.

*Btu/h rating will vary when using LP gas.

Power Failure

The automatic reignition feature will not operate during a power failure.

In case of prolonged power failure, the surface burners can be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and turn knob counterclockwise. After burner lights, turn knob to setting.
