The recess on the top of the Stealthbox® was specifically designed to be a good mounting location for an amplifier. The amplifier shown is the JL Audio XD400/4. See recommendations below if this is where the amp will be mounted.

If mounting an amplifier in the recess make sure to mount the amplifier panel to the Stealthbox® first and then the amp to the panel so that extra holes will not be drilled into the Stealthbox®.
