Using the Speaker System

1Connect the speakers and AC adapter as shown in the Connection Diagram.

2Turn the power switch knob clockwise to turn the power on. A click sound is heard and the power lamp lights up in green.

3Turn the power switch knob further to obtain the optimum sound level.

In case the sound level is not sufficient though the knob is turned up fully clockwise, increase the output level of the signal source as it may be set too low.

When using the headphones, plug it into the headphone jack. No sound comes out of the speakers.

Turn the knob fully counterclockwise before connecting the headphones, not to damage the speakers and your ears.

To turn off the speakers, turn the power switch knob fully counterclockwise.

Never turn it on or off by any other means to ensure safe operation of the speakers.

Although the speakers are magnetically shielded, they may affect some monitors if installed nearby. Should color deterioration occur on a monitor, place the speakers slightly away. Turn off the monitor, and keep it turned off for about 15 to 20 minutes.

By doing this, normal color will be restored.
