Stepping up from the KDL-EX700, the NX710 and NX810 series feature Sony’s new design concept—Monolithic Design. This de- sign changes the entire TV viewing environment by delivering the most innovative, stylish, and high-quality experience possible. With quality materials forming a simple, flush viewing surface with crisp edges and a smooth border, the models blend into the home’s inte- rior and allow viewers to focus completely on beautiful on-screen images without distraction from unnecessary decorative elements. Also, a unique 6° upward tilt option offers a more natural, comfort- able viewing experience.
The remote control of the Monolithic BRAVIAS has been redesigned, featuring a curved top surface (making easier to access the con- trols) and a glossy outer surface. In addtion to Monolithic Design,
they also offer integrated Wi-Fi wireless network capabilities (802.11N). Otherwise the same, the KDL-NX710 series features Motionflow 120Hz Technology, while the KDL-NX810 series doubles that with Motionflow 240Hz Technology.

BRAVIA HX800 • HX900 • LX900 Series 3D Capable BRAVIA HDTVs
Sony’s 3D HDTVs will draw you closer to entertainment than ever before. The 3D models incorporate a frame sequential display and active-shutter glasses that work together with Sony’s proprietary high frame rate technology reproducing full high-definition 3D images. The HX800 and HX900-series are 3D capable using optional Sony 3D active shutter glasses and 3D transmitter, while the he LX900 series offers integrated 3D functionality with Sony’s 3D active shutter glasses and built-in 3D transmitter.
The HX800 series utilizes a Dynamic Edge LED backlight with local dimming for improved contrast and dynamic range. They feature Motionflow PRO 240Hz Technology for smooth motion, ambient sensor, optional USB Wireless-LAN adapter for easy wireless network connection, BRAVIA Engine 3 and USB and DLNA photo/music/video playback.
Otherwise the same, the HX900 series features Monolithic Design, BRAVIA Engine 3 with Intelligent Image Enhancer, and Sony’s new Opti- Contrast panel. Designed with a clear surface treatment and a resin sheet sandwiched between the LCD display panel and glass plate, the OptiContrast panel minimizes the reflection and refraction
of external and internal light producing deeper images with superior black levels even in bright rooms. In addition to integrated 3D functionality, the top-of-the-line LX900 adds Position Control to the Intelligent Presence Sensor detecting a user’s viewing position to deliver optimized video/sound balance, while the Distance Alert feature helps to keep small children at an eye-friendly distance.
