Charge the battery connecting to the computer with the USB cable.

1 Press the <button to turn off the camcorder.
The power lamp goes out.
2 Connect the camcorder to a computer.
Camcorder’s LCD monitor will turn off when the USB cable is connected. This occurs during battery charging or when connected to a PC.

When the charging is finished, disconnect the camcorder from the computer.
NOTE
•Charging is not possible while the camcorder is turned on.
•Make sure that the computer is turned on during charging.
•The camcorder is not charged when it is shipped. Charge the camcorder before using it for the first time.
•If there is a trouble in charging, the charge lamp/warning lamp blinks in green. Connect the camcorder to the computer again.
