EXTERNAL COMPONENT OPERATIONS

After connecting an external component to the auxiliary input jack on the front panel, you can select the component as the sound source.

MD player, VCR, TV etc.

Note:

1 Use a stereo mini-plug cord to connect an external component to the unit.

AUX	Select the external component.
CD-CH	Each time you press the button, you can select the CD
	automatic changer and the external component alternately.

“AUX” (or clock time: see page 23) appears.

Note:

When selecting an external component as the source, what appears on the upper part of the display depends on the “AUX” setting (see page 25).

Note on One-Touch Operation:

When you press CD-CH/AUX, the power automatically comes on. You do not have to press to turn on the power.
