•Place a disc here when open.

3OPEN/CLOSE O button*

•Press to open or close the disc tray.

4PR(OGRAMME) +/- buttons

•Press up or down to change the channel.

5REV r button

•During playback, press to skip to the previous chapter or track.

•During playback, press and hold for 1.5 seconds to fast reverse.

•When playback is paused, press repeatedly to slow reverse.

6FWD f button

•During playback, press to skip to the next chapter or track.

•During playback, press and hold for 1.5 seconds to fast forward.

•When playback is paused, press repeatedly to slow forward.

9STANDBY/ON y/I button

•Press to turn on or off the unit.

•If timer programming is set, press to switch the unit to timer-standby mode.

10AUDIO input jacks (AV4)

•Use to connect external equipment with standard Audio cables.

11VIDEO input jack (AV4)

•Use to connect external equipment with a standard Video cable.

12S-VIDEO input jack (AV4)

•Use to connect the S-Video output of external equipment with an S-Video cable.

13REC I button

•Press once to start recording.

•Press repeatedly to start a one-touch timer recording.

14REC SPEED button

•Press to switch the recording speed.

15Remote control sensor

•Receives signals from your remote control so you can control the unit from a distance.

7STOP S button*

•Press to stop playback or recording.

•Press to stop a timer recording of DVD.

8PLAY P button*

•Press to start or resume playback.
