•When you connect a TV using a component video cord, you can enjoy a high quality picture by selecting the progressive scanning mode. To select the scanning mode, see page 16.
•After connecting a TV, select an appropriate color system for your TV. To select the color system, see page 31.
¤Voltage selector
This operation is not required for Hong Kong and Australian models.
Use a screwdriver to slide the voltage selector so that it is pointing to the correct voltage in the area you are plugging in the unit. (See also the back cover page.)
When connecting a USB mass storage class device
On the front panel
USB cable (not supplied)
•When connecting with a USB cable, use the USB 2.0 cable whose length is less than 1 m.
•You can connect a USB mass storage class device such as a USB flash memory device, hard disk drive, multimedia card reader, etc. to this System.
•You cannot connect a computer to the USB MEMORY
REC/PLAY terminal () of the System.
•You cannot connect JVC Everio camcorder to the USB
MEMORY REC/PLAY terminal () of the System.
•Noise and static electricity may stop the USB mass storage class device sound. In this case, disconnect and connect the USB mass storage class device again after turning off the System.
•Depending on the shape of a USB mass storage class device connected, you cannot open or close the disc tray properly. In such a case, use a USB extension cable (not supplied) to connect.
