(Preset No. Select)

1. Select a band by pressing the TUNER

BAND button.

2. Press the 4 or ¢ button to tune in a sta- tion.

3. Press the 7 button for 2 seconds or more.

The preset number and band/frequency are alternately displayed for 5 seconds.

4. Within 5 seconds, repeatedly press the 7 but- ton until the preset number you want appears, then press and hold the 7 button until “STORED” appears on the display.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 for further presetting.

To change the preset stations, repeat the same procedure as

above.

Manual Presetting (Using the Re- mote Control) ———————————

Number key(s) (hold for 2 seconds)

1. Select a band by pressing the TUNER

BAND button.

2. Press the 4 or ¢ button to tune in a station.

3. Set the preset number by pressing and hold- ing the number key on the Remote Control until “STORED” appears on the display.

To preset numbers 1 to 10: Press the number key and hold it down for 2 seconds.

To preset numbers 11 to 19: Press and release the +10 but- ton, then press the second number key (1 to 9) and hold it down for 2 seconds.

To preset numbers 21 to 29: Press and release the +10 but- ton twice, then press the second number key (1 to 9) and hold it down for 2 seconds.

To preset number 30: Press and release the +10 button 2

times, then press and hold 10 button. Example: Preset number = 12

4. Repeat steps 1 - 3 for further presetting.

To change the preset stations, repeat the same steps as above.

To Change the FM

Reception Mode

The “STEREO” indicator lights up and you can hear stereo effects, when a program is broadcast in stereo.

However if an FM stereo broadcast is hard to receive or noisy, you can select Monaural mode. Reception improves, but you lose any stereo effect.

Press the TUNER BAND button to select FM MONO mode.

The “MONO” indicator lights up on the display.

To restore the stereo effect, press the TUNER BAND button to select FM Auto mode (“FM” appears on the display.). The “MO- NO” indicator goes out.
