Connecting the Speakers
For full enjoyment of the THX modes (see page 51), it is recommended to use

Turn the loop until you have the best reception.
AM Loop Antenna

Snap the tabs on the loop into the slots of the base to assemble the AM loop.

Use only the speakers of the SPEAKER IMPEDANCE indicated by the speaker terminals.
•When connecting to both of the FRONT 1 and FRONT 2 / ZONE

8 Ω to 16 Ω.
•When connecting to either the FRONT 1 or FRONT 2 / ZONE 2
SPEAKERS terminals, use speakers with an impedance of 4 Ω to 16 Ω.

Notes:
• If the AM loop antenna wire is covered with vinyl, remove the vinyl by twisting it as shown in the diagram.
•Make sure the antenna conductors do not touch any other terminals, connecting cords and power cord. This could cause poor reception.
