Basic Operations
This section explains only the operations commonly used when you play any sound source.
Before performing basic operations, it is recommended to finish the basic settings on pages 26 to 33.
3. Press DOOR DOWN so that you can use the
other buttons inside the front door.
4. If no sounds come out of the front
speakers, press SPEAKERS 1
and/or SPEAKERS 2 which you
want to use.
The selected front speaker indicator(s) light(s) up on the display.
For more details, see “Activating the Front Speakers” on page
19.
5. Turn MASTER VOLUME to
adjust the volume level of the
sound through the speakers.
From the remote control:
1. Press AUDIO (ON).
The STANDBY lamp on the unit goes
off.
The sound comes out of the speakers.

17.
If no sounds come out of the front speakers, press SPEAKERS
1 and/or SPEAKERS 2 on the unit. The speakers 1 and/or 2
indicator(s) light(s) on the display.

19.
2. Select and play a source.
3. Press VOLUME +/– to adjust the
volume level of the sound through
the speakers.
IMPORTANT:
When using the unit:
Press DOOR DOWN to use the buttons inside the
front door.
To close the front door, press DOOR UP.
When using the remote control:
Check the indication shown on the remote’s display
when you press a button—this indicates the remote control
operation mode for a while (10 or 5 seconds).

Simple Operating Procedure
On the unit:
1. Press (STANDBY/ON).
The STANDBY lamp on the unit goes off, and the front door
moves down so that the source selecting buttons appear.

(Standby)” on page 17.
The sound comes out of the speakers.
2. Select and play a source.
