Programing the Track Playing Order —Program Play

You can arrange the order in which the tracks play before you start playing. You can program up to 100 tracks.

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Load discs into the 5-CD Changer.

If the current playing source is not “CD,” press 3/8 CD, then 7 before going to the next step.

Each time you press the button, play mode changes as follows:

3 Press one of the disc number

5 Program other tracks you want.

To program tracks from the same disc, repeat step 4.

To program tracks from a different disc, repeat steps 3 and 4.

6 Press 3/8 CD.

The tracks are played in the order you have programed.

To stop during play, press 7.

To exit from the Program Play mode, before or after play, press PLAY MODE once or twice so that the unit enters another disc playback mode (Random Play or Continuous Play).

The PRGM indicator goes off.

Turning off the unit or changing the source also cancels Program Play and changes the disc playback mode to Continuous Play.

To check the program contents

Before playing, you can check the program contents by pressing ¢ or

4.

¢: Shows the programed tracks in the programed order.

4: Shows them in the reverse order.

Pressing 4 first time after you have programed shows the first track in the program.

To modify the program

Before playing, you can erase the last programed

CANCEL

track by pressing CANCEL.

 

Each time you press the button, the last

 

programed track is erased from the program.

 

To add tracks to the program before playing, simply select

4 Press the number buttons to select a track from the disc selected in the previous step.

disc numbers and track numbers you want to add on steps 3 and 4.

In the Program Play mode, you cannot open the disc trays.

If you try to program a 101st track

“MEMORY FULL” will appear on the display.

When “NO PROGRAM” appears on the display

You are trying to program a track from an empty tray, or a track number that does not exist on the disc.

You are selecting the disc that the unit has not read yet.
