CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the supply socket and fully cooled down.

•To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

•Never use abrasive products

•On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.

FILTER

•Your appliance is provided with a spout filter. When you want to boil water, settle the filter first. The filter needs to be in place for the kettle to work. Removing the filter will cause dysfunction in the auto-shut off mechanism.

•When the lid is open, you can remove the particle filter by taking it out of the spout and clean it under running water.

•Filter should be rinsed clean regularly.

DESCALING

To remove scale from the jug kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose. Make sure to use a type recommended for plastic kettles or coffee makers.
