Before first use, re move any packaging material
or promotional labels .
Wipe the housing and cooki ng plates with a
damp cloth then dry t horoughly.
Place grill on a dry level sur face.
Before using your Essent ials Health Grill for
the first time, sea son the non-stick ribbed
cooking plates with a li ttle vegetable oil and
rub off the excess with a bsorbent paper.
Plug into a 230/ 240 volt power outlet and
then turn the power on. The re d ‘on’ light will
illuminate.
When using the Kambrook E ssentials Health
Grill for the first tim e you may notice a fine
smoke haze. This is caused by t he heating of
some of the components. T here is no need for
concern.
Allow the Kambrook Esse ntials Health Grill to
preheat until the green ‘Re ady’ light illuminates.
Place meat or foods to be cooked o n base
cooking plate and close th e lid. The grill can be
used with the lid closed or op en depending on
the food being grilled.
NOTE: It is not recommende d to cook any items
with thick bones such as T b one steaks because
they prevent the meat coming int o contact with the
cooking plates.
IMPORTANT: Always ensure that the dr ip tray
is in place when using the Ka mbrook Essentials
Health Grill.
When your meat or food is has f inished
cooking open the lid. Remove t he food with
a heat proof plastic slide o r heat proof plastic
tongs.
Never use metal tongs, fo rks or a knife as
these can cause damage t o the non-stick
coating of the cooking pla tes.
NOTE: The green ‘Ready ’ light will cycle on and
off during the cooking pr ocess indicating that the
correct temperature i s being maintained.

Cleaning the grill
Always clean your Kambroo k Essentials Health
Grill after each use to p revent a build up of
baked on foods.
Before cleaning, tur n the power off at the
power outlet and then unpl ug.
Allow your Kambrook Essent ials Health Grill
to cool slightly. The grill is eas ier to clean when
slightly warm.
To clean the top and bottom ribb ed cooking
plates, you can use the pl astic cleaning scraper
provided and run the scrape r along the ribs.
Wipe cooking plates exces s food with a damp
soft cloth. For baked on fo od residue, squeeze
some warm clean water mi xed with detergent
over the food residue then use t he plastic
scraper, allowing the water to dr ain into the
drip tray. Wipe with a soft da mp cloth and dry
thoroughly.

IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
NOTE: The cooking plate s have a non-stick
coating. Do not use abrasives or me tal utensils
to remove food residue as they w ill scratch and
damage the coating.
NOTE: Do not use non-st ick cooking sprays spray
or coatings as this wil l impact the performance of
the cooking plates.
Cleaning the drip tr ay
After each use, wa sh the drip tray in warm
soapy water. Avoid the use of scouring pads
or harsh detergents a s they may damage the
surface. Rinse and dr y thoroughly with a clean,
soft dry cloth and for ne xt use.
Storage
Switch off the grill and u nplug from the power
outlet. Allow to cool co mpletely.
Follow cleaning instru ctions and ensure the
appliance is completel y dry.
Insert the drip tray in to position and wrap
power cord around cord storage are a under
the grill.
Store grill on a flat, d ry, level surface. Do not
place anything on top of th e grill.
NOTE: For convenience the g rill may be
stored in an upright vert ical position.
